Job summary

Intermountain Health is recruiting for a Thoracic and Cardiac Surgery physician with board eligibility or certification to join St. Vincent Regional Hospital in Billings, MT. The role requires surgical residency/fellowship training and Montana licensure or eligibility.

About This Role

• Competitive Daily Rate.
• All travel, lodging, and medical malpractice expenses will be covered.
• Practice at Intermountain Health: St. Vincent Regional Hospital in Billings, Montana.
• Joining a well‑respected, established group of Heart & Vascular providers.
• Extended program includes 4 experienced surgical PA's who provide support in the OR, hospital, and ambulatory clinic.
• The clinic is conveniently located adjacent to the hospital providing easy access.
• EPIC EMR utilization (system‑wide).
• Excellent opportunity for mentorship, leadership roles, program expansion, professional growth, and plenty of program support. Great team dynamic!
• The hospital is a Level 1 Trauma Center, a Certified Stroke Center, and an accredited Chest Pain Center with PCI. The OR includes one hybrid and one biplane operating suite.

What You'll Bring

• MD or DO degree from a fully accredited medical or osteopathic school of medicine.
• Residency or Fellowship trained in Thoracic and Cardiac Surgery.
• Board certification or eligibility in the designated discipline.
• Active, unobstructed Montana medical license, or the ability to obtain one.Ability to successfully complete Intermountain Health's credentialing process.
• Passion for CT surgery.
