Job summary

Hmixray is seeking a CT Steering Technologist to perform high-quality CT imaging remotely with support from a Virtual Tech Assistant. The role emphasizes patient safety, efficient imaging, and collaboration with radiologists to ensure optimal diagnostic outcomes.

The successful candidate will have ARRT CT certification, state licensure, BLS, and at least three years of diagnostic imaging experience. A fast-paced, patient-focused environment is expected, with opportunities for professional growth

Qualifications

• ARRT(R)(CT) certification.
• State License in Diagnostic Radiologic Technology.
• Must have BLS certification.
• At least three years of diagnostic imaging experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Produces high quality CT diagnostic images from a remote location with the help of a Virtual Tech Assistant or registered XR or CT technologists in need of training.
• Assure patient safety by adhering to company policies and established protocols.
• Ensure release of patient with proper follow-up information via the Virtual Tech Assistant.
• Produce high quality images in a timely manner while providing excellent patient care.
• Monitor patient's well-being during scans via cameras and through feedback from Virtual Tech Assistant; recognize patient discomfort or medical problems and take appropriate action.
• Assures patient safety by reviewing screening for implants with the Virtual Tech Assistant prior to the patient entering the CT room using time out procedure.
• Demonstrates good judgment when correlating patient history and scanning protocols.Knows when to divert from routine scans and/or when to enlist assistance from radiologist to achieve high quality diagnostic images.
• Will remotely perform scans on multiple CT scanners simultaneously in some instances.
• Respond to physician questions and needs regarding patients.

You Will:

To Ensure Success In This Role, You Must Have:
