Job summary

Parkview Health is seeking a CT Technologist to operate CT Scanners and perform CT procedures in accordance with department policies. The role adheres to ARRT and ASRT practice standards, works with physicians, and positions patients to obtain diagnostic images while prioritizing comfort and safety.

The candidate will obtain required patient information, apply radiation protection measures, recognize emergencies, and support other shifts as needed in a fast-paced radiology department.

Qualifications

• Satisfactory completion of formal radiologic technology training.
• Registered by American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• Licensed with the Indiana State Board of Health.
• CPR Certification.

Responsibilities

• Operates CT Scanners and performs CT procedures.
• Position patients to obtain required images while considering patient comfort.
• Ensure patient information is collected prior to procedures.
• Provide radiation protection to patients and staff using PPE and guidelines.
• Assist other areas or shifts as needed.
