Job summary

Virtua Health is seeking a CT Technologist to perform CT scans per radiologist protocols, with rotation between Voorhees, Marlton and Berlin under the Virtua South division. The role covers night shifts from 8:00pm to 8:00am with a rotating schedule between Voorhees and Marlton.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited Radiology Technology program, ARRT certification, NJ licensure and CPR. Advanced ARRT CT certification is preferred; if not CT certified, boards must be completed within

Qualifications

Minimum 1 year CT experience preferred.
Graduate of an accredited school of Radiology Technology.
ARRT certification required; NJ licensure required; CPR certification required.
Advanced ARRT CT certification preferred; if not CT certified, boards must be taken within 1 year of hire date.

Responsibilities

Consistently performs high-quality CT scan studies according to radiologist protocols.
Demonstrates knowledge of CT exams and uses RIS, PACS, Web Viewer, ADW workstation and other hospital systems.
Maintains thorough documentation; verifies orders and collects pertinent medical information.
Provides safe IV contrast administration and prepares patients per protocol; assists during interventional CT procedures.
Provides on-call coverage and participates in training of new CT technologists.
