Job summary
Logan Health Medical Center in Kalispell, Montana, is seeking a Cardiac Cath Lab Tech to join our dedicated team. You will prepare and assist in diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures, operate Cath Lab equipment, and ensure patient safety throughout the care pathway.

Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology (required).
- AART Certification in Radiology (R) OR RCIS/RCES (required).
- Current Montana Radiologic Technology License (required).
- BLS and ACLS certification recommended.

Location: Logan Health Medical Center - Kalispell, Montana. Shift: Day Shift - 10 Hours | Full-Time - 40 Hours.

- Prepare and assist in diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures.
- Operate and troubleshoot Cath Lab equipment.

- Maintain accurate records and comply with all safety and quality protocols.
- Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology (required for AART).
- AART Certification in Radiology (R) OR Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) or a Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES) (required).
- Current Montana Radiologic Technology License (required).
- BLS and ACLS certification.
- Strong technical skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work efficiently in high-pressure situations.
- Excellent communication, organization, and critical thinking skills.
- Team-oriented mindset with a passion for patient care.
- One or more of the following is preferred, but not required:
- 1+ year(s) of experience in Interventional Cardiology.
- 1+ year(s) of experience in Interventional Radiology.
- 1+ year(s) of experience in Radiology.
- One or more of the following certifications is preferred, but not required:
- Cardiac-Interventional (CI) Vascular Interventional (VI)

- Credentialing as either a Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) or a Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES) required.
- BLS required.
- ACLS must be successfully obtained within six (6) months of hire.
- Minimum of one (1) year experience in the below preferred:
- Interventional Cardiology
- Interventional Radiology
- Radiology
- Excellent organizational skills, detail-oriented, a self-starter, possess critical thinking skills and be able to set priorities and function as part of a team as well as independently.
- Commitment to working in a team environment and maintaining confidentiality as needed.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills including the ability to communicate effectively with various audiences.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy.
- Possess and maintain computer skills to include working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn other software as needed.

- Responds to patient response to diagnostic and/or interventional procedures.
- Provides patient care in lab as directed by the physician.
- Assists with procedures performed by vascular surgeons, interventional cardiologists, electrophysiologist, and/or radiologists.
- Performs technical support before, during, and post procedure based on Institutional policy, ASRT Practice Standards, and Montana Code.
- Operates and maintains all diagnostic and therapeutic equipment utilized for procedures, per vendor specifications and guidelines.
- Monitors patients during procedures.
- Assists with maintenance of inventory for Hybrid OR, Cath Lab, EP Lab, and/or interventional labs.
- Sets up procedure trays prior to procedure start.
- Participates and/or coordinate patient careand flow.
- Exhibits proper safety as appropriate to the area and ensures radiation safety for all who enter the room.

Shift: Day Shift - 10 Hours (United States of America). Schedule: Rotating Days 10 hours with call. Location: Logan Health Medical Center - Kalispell, Montana. Shift: Day Shift - 10 Hours | Full-Time - 40 Hours.
Logan Health operates 24 hours per day, seven days per week. Schedules are set to accommodate the requirements of the position and the needs of the organization and may be adjusted as needed.
