Job summary

Heywood Healthcare is seeking a CT technologist to operate CT scanners, prepare patients, administer contrast per physician orders, and ensure high-quality, diagnostic images. You will work 32 hours per week evenings, with every-other weekend and rotating holidays in Massachusetts.

The role requires a Radiology license (MA) and ARRT credentials, with ARRT (CT) expected within two years. Candidates should be detail-oriented and committed to patient safety and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of Radiology Technology, CAT Scan Technology, or equivalent.
• Minimum of 1 year CT experience preferred or required by department management.
• MA DPH Radiology License required; ARRT (R) required; ARRT (CT) preferred and required within two years of hire.
• Strong attention to detail, patient safety, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Operates CT scanner and related processing/printing equipment to produce diagnostic images.
• Ensures all images meet diagnostic quality with proper patient demographics and required measurements.
• Reviews physician orders and confirms exam type based on clinical history.
• Coordinates daily scheduling and patient flow to ensure timely exams.
• Maintains a safe environment for patients and staff, following radiation safety procedures.
