Job summary

Huntsville Hospital is seeking a CT Technologist to perform radiologic procedures and assist physicians at a technical level with minimal supervision. The role includes ensuring patient comfort and safety, image quality, and sterile equipment in assigned areas.

Responsibilities include potential coverage of inpatient/outpatient areas and offsite locations. ARRT (R) and ARRT (CT) registration, along with BCLS, are required; 2 years CT experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be ARRT (R) registered.
• Must be ARRT (CT) registered.
• BCLS required.
• 2 years CT experience preferred.
• Graduate of an accredited School of Radiologic Science.

Responsibilities

• Performs radiologic procedures and assists physicians and radiologists at a technical level not requiring constant supervision of technical detail.
• Ensures patient comfort and safety during procedures.
• Ensures a high quality of images produced.
• Responsible for availability and sterility of equipment and supplies used for assigned areas.
• The technologist will be part of the on call pool.
• The CT Technologist may be required to cover inpatient or outpatient areas to include offsite diagnostic locations.
