Job summary

Sovah Health - Martinsville, part of Lifepoint Health, is seeking a Cat Scan Technician for the night shift. You will perform CT imaging, ensure patient safety, and manage contrast administration under ARRT CT guidelines.

The position offers a $10,000 sign-on bonus and comprehensive benefits. ARRT CT certification within 1 year is expected if not current, along with BLS-HCP and at least 1 year of related CT experience.

Qualifications

• ARRT Registry in Computed Tomography (CT) required or a plan to obtain within 1 year of hire/transfer.
• Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field preferred.
• 1 year experience in Radiologic technology, Radiation Therapy, MR, Nuclear Medicine, or CT procedures is preferred.
• Basic Life Support Health Care Provider (BLS-HCP) required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and administer contrast media and/or medications within scope of practice.
• Monitor patient condition continually and report changes as appropriate.
• Prepare equipment and supplies; select exposure factors and imaging parameters.
• Implement safety standards and perform quality control on equipment.
• Troubleshoot and report equipment malfunctions as necessary.
