Qualifications

CT Scan Technologist - Morristown Medical Center, Full Time Wed, Thurs, Sat 10a-11pm

Join Atlantic Health System as a CT Scan Technologist at Morristown Medical Center, working full-time on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays from 10 am to 11 pm.

Job Responsibilities

Responsible for producing cross-sectional images of patients' internal organs and tissues to assist in diagnosis. Tasks include interpreting physician's scanning instructions, administering contrast materials, preparing and operating CT scan equipment, and positioning patients to capture optimal images.

Principal Accountabilities

• Interpret CT protocols and correctly position patients for exams.
• Operate CT scanner equipment in accordance with radiation safety standards (ALARA).
• Evaluate CT scans for technical quality.
• Utilize EPIC, Radiant, and PACS systems to schedule and transmit images for interpretation.
• Prepare and administer contrast material using a power injector.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Graduated from an accredited radiology program and registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• Associate's degree in Applied Science in Diagnostic Radiology.
• Licensed by the State in Diagnostic Technology.

Preferred Qualifications

• CT Certification is preferred.
