Job summary

St. Luke’s University Health Network is seeking a Registered CT Scan Technologist to perform CT examinations and assist Radiologists during invasive procedures. You will review patient history, operate RIS/HIS modules, and ensure high-quality images for PACS.

The role involves contrast administration and strict adherence to safety protocols. Education requirements include ARRT recognition with Advanced CT registry within a year. NJ candidates with ARRT and state license are also considered.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an ARRT recognized education program, or ARRT registered.
• Advanced CT registry required within 1 year of hire.
• NJ candidate: ARRT recognized School of Radiologic Technology; A.A.S. Degree preferred; 1 year experience; 2+ years preferred; current NJDEP license and ARRT.

Responsibilities

• Directly assists Radiologist during invasive procedures and performs CT scan examinations as directed by the Radiologist.
• Communicates clinical observations during CT scans to Radiologist and presents clinical history.
• Demonstrates competency in RIS/HIS modules relevant to job responsibilities.
• Injects contrast for CT scans following department policy and reviews patient questionnaire prior to start.
• Performs 3-D imaging functions and ensures quality of digital images sent to PACS.
