Job summary

Willamette Valley Medical Center in McMinnville, Oregon seeks a Radiologic Technologist to provide CT and radiologic imaging services as ordered, following established practices and safety standards. The role includes preparing equipment, monitoring patient status, and ensuring image quality.

Responsibilities include selecting appropriate exposure factors, troubleshooting equipment, and reporting scan results. A valid ARRT/JRCERT/ARMRIT/NMTCB credential pathway is required.

Qualifications

• Graduated from an ARRT, JRCERT, ARMRIT, or NMTCB accredited program in Radiologic Technology, Radiation Therapy, MR, or Nuclear Medicine.

Responsibilities

• Provides computerized assisted tomographic/radiologic services as ordered/directed, according to established practices and procedures.
• Monitors patient condition continually and reports changes in status as appropriate.
• Prepares equipment and supplies. Selects appropriate exposure factors and imaging parameters.
• Implements safety standards and performs quality control procedures on equipment.
• Troubleshoots, resolves, and reports equipment malfunctions as necessary.
• Positions patient and performs imaging procedure(s).
• Analyzes results and identifies issues with imaging quality.
• Takes appropriate action to resolve image quality issues, including repositioning patient and repeating procedure.
• Enters, transmits and reports scan results.
