Qualifications

• Requires CMRT – Certified Medical Radiologic Technologist by the Texas Medical Board
• ARRT registry in CT modality preferred

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic procedures with minimal radiation exposure and maximum image quality.
• Demonstrates competency in CT procedures, positioning, preparation, and factors related to CT systems.
• Obtains surgical history and consents for contrast as needed for exam.
• Documents in information systems after procedures and logs STAT reads per policy.
• Maintains cleanliness and inventory of the lab and restocks supplies as needed.
• Adheres to ACR QC requirements and internal guidelines.
