Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health’s Winchester Hospital is seeking a CT Tech to join the CT Team. You will perform CT examinations following established protocols and contribute to delivering high-quality patient care. Qualifications include ARRT registry in Radiology and CT, Massachusetts license in Radiology and CT, and BLS.

One year of diagnostic experience and CT preferred. Strong English communication with patients and staff is required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Education preferred in CAT scan technology.
• One year diagnostic technology experience.
• One year CT experience preferred.
• Must read, write, and communicate effectively in English with patients and staff.

Responsibilities

• Perform safety and quality checks, verify exam orders.
• Complete CT examinations per CT Radiologist protocols.
• Enter examinations with accurate documentation and charges.
• Send and store images in PACS electronically.
• Maintain records and logs for quality and safety per policies.
• Clean equipment and maintain a safe work environment.
• Address supply and equipment issues to ensure operations.
• Transport and assist patients as needed.
• Educate patients and families about the procedure.
• Communicate with the healthcare team using handoff procedures.
• Minimize harm and follow infection control protocols.
