Job summary

Methodist Hospital Atascosa is seeking a CT Scan Technician to perform physician-ordered diagnostic CT exams and manage patient flow in a full-service radiology setting.

You will work with advanced CT technology, ensure safety protocols, and assist with scheduling and documentation. Eligible candidates should have ARRT certification, a radiologic tech background, and a Texas-registered credential. This on-site role offers comprehensive benefits and career growth.

Qualifications

• Education: One of the following—Associate of Applied Science in Radiologic Technology or hospital-based program or military program.
• Required: Medical Radiologic Technologist Certification from the Texas Medical Board.
• Must have ARRT® with one year experience in radiology at time of hire.
• Eligible to test and be ARRT(CT) preferred.
• Basic Life Support certification.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate competency in computerized tomography (CT), positioning, procedure preparation, and technical factors.
• Display knowledge in the use of other CT equipment such as power injectors, biopsy devices, and CT accessories.
• Schedule exams, patient tracking, image tracking and proper completion of exams.
• Follow safety policies and adjust priorities to prevent complications.
• Maintain cleanliness and inventory of CT rooms and restock supplies.
