Job summary

Maria Parham Health, part of Lifepoint Health, seeks a Cat Scan Technician to perform high-quality CT imaging and contribute to timely diagnostics. You will review patient history, educate patients, and ensure safe operation of CT equipment while maintaining safety protocols across shifts.

Qualifications

• Current Radiation Operator Certificate in state of practice.
• Registered with ARRT in Radiology and Computed Tomography.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• On-Call: must accept on-call assignments and be available within 30 minutes.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality CT imaging in accordance with established standards and practice guidelines.
• Educate patients on procedures, prepare and administer contrast media within scope, monitor patient condition.
• Position patients, acquire images, analyze scan quality, and report equipment issues promptly.
