Job summary

Atlantic Health System in Summit, NJ seeks a CT Technologist to produce cross‑sectional images for diagnostic purposes. You will interpret scanning instructions, administer contrast material, and position patients to capture the appropriate images.

Responsibilities include operating the CT scanner, following ALARA radiation standards, and ensuring image quality for Radiologists. Proficiency with EPIC, Radiant, and PACS is expected.

Qualifications

• Operates CT scanner in accordance with prescribed radiation standards (ALARA).
• Demonstrates expertise in acquiring diagnostic CT images.
• Maintains patient safety and comfort during exams.

Job description

Responsible for producing cross-section images of patients' internal organs and tissues for the diagnosis of medical issues. Interprets a physician's scanning instructions, administering contrast materials, preparing and operating the CT scan equipment, and position the patient to capture the appropriate images.

Principal Accountabilities:
