Sentara Norfolk General Hospital in Norfolk, VA seeks a CT Tech to perform Computed Tomography and related procedures under physician supervision. You will educate patients and families, operate imaging equipment safely, and maintain documentation and inventory.

Qualifications include ALD Radiologic Sciences or a trade certificate, ARRT/CNMT within 2 years, CT registry within 2 years, and new grads are welcome.

Overview

Performs Computed Tomography (CT) and CT guided interventional procedures under the direction of a qualified physician; provides patient and family education; operates equipment safely; completes department documentation; maintains all equipment to be clean and operational; maintains adequate supply inventory for performing examinations.

Education

ALD Radiologic Sciences or Trade school certificate

Certification/Licensure

ARRT required or CNMT obtained within 2 years

CT registry obtained within 2 years of hire

Experience

No experience in CT required new grads welcome

Compensation

We provide market-competitive compensation packages, inclusive of base pay, incentives, and benefits. The base pay range for full-time employment is $38.74 - $58.21 hourly. Additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, on-call pay, overtime, shift premiums, extra-shift incentives, or bonus opportunities. Compensation within the range may vary based on qualifications, experience, location, market conditions, and business needs.
