Job summary

The CAT Scan Technologist at Riddle Hospital is part of Main Line Health's radiology team. You will perform CT procedures, verify orders, and educate patients to ensure safety and comfort while delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging.

The ideal candidate has ARRT certification, BLS, and a JRCERT-accredited radiography program, with a preference for CT certification and 1 year of CT experience. This on-site role offers a 36-hour work week and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a JRCERT-accredited program in Radiologic Technology.
• ARRT (R) certification is required; ARRT (CT) certification is preferred.
• IV certification is preferred or must be obtained by onboarding/training.
• BLS certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures in accordance with physician orders and established protocols.
• Verify patient clinical history and ensure accuracy of imaging orders.
• Prepare and educate patients for procedures to ensure safety and comfort.
• Provide patient-centered care while maintaining professionalism and compassion.
• Maintain equipment and ensure adherence to safety and regulatory standards.
• Demonstrate the ability to work independently and collaborate with the care team.

Shift Schedule

• Week One: Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday 10:00 AM-10:00 PM
• Week Two: Monday, Friday 10:00 AM-10:00 PM, Saturday 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
• 36 Hours Per Week - Benefits Eligible

Position Summary

The CAT Scan Technologist performs a variety of CT procedures while exercising professional judgment to provide high-quality diagnostic imaging services. This role requires maintaining standards consistent with medical ethics and organizational values, delivering safe and appropriate care to all patient populations, and working independently in the provision of services.

Qualifications

Experience

• Minimum one (1) year of recent CT experience preferred

Education

• Graduate of a JRCERT-accredited program in Radiologic Technology required.

Licensure/Certifications

• ARRT (R) certification required
• ARRT (CT) certification preferred
• IV certification preferred (or must obtain by end of onboarding/training)
• BLS certification (American Heart Association or American Red Cross) required
