Job Overview

Performs CT procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision. Exercises professional judgment in procedures and patient care. Conducts related duties, maintains knowledge of other department areas, and uses understanding of growth and development principles to assess each patient's age-specific needs. The CT Technologist will train new staff, schedule daily assignments, manage patient flow, assist with equipment inspections to ensure compliance, assist with MRI procedures as needed, and perform quality control.

Qualifications

Required:

• Graduate of an AMA-approved School of Radiologic Technology.
• CT experience required.

Certifications and Licenses Required:

• Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT).
• NJ License required.

Scheduling Requirements

• Full Time
• 40 hours/week

Essential Functions

• Schedule staff assignments and manage patient flow.
• Ensure CT equipment is inspected and compliant.
• Order and maintain supply levels.
• Perform daily quality control checks.
• Train new CT Technologists.
• Assist with MRI procedures as needed.
• Ensure patient comfort and well-being during procedures.
• Assess patient condition for proper technique.
• Assist Radiologists during procedures.
• Prepare and clean procedure rooms.
• Use Radiology Information System accurately.
• Verify physician orders and document procedures.

Pay Range

$47.23 - $56.47 hourly
