Job description

Shift: 12p - 12:30a (4/10's)

CT License and BLS are Required

The CT Technologist is a graduate of an accredited AMA school and registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT). The CT Technologist is licensed by the state as a general radiographer and is responsible for providing timely diagnostic services to both inpatient and outpatient populations under the supervision of a Radiologist and departmental protocols. Responsibilities include:

1. Performing routine diagnostic CT scans, including CT of the head/brain, neck, thorax, spine, abdomen/pelvis, extremities, and biopsy/drainage procedures.
2. Processing CT system images and ensuring quality control.
3. Following surgical/sterile procedures and handling studies with or without contrast media.
4. Understanding of cross-sectional anatomy.
