Job summary

CommonSpirit Health in Bakersfield, CA is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to produce diagnostic images for Radiologists to interpret. You will perform X-rays, fluoroscopy, CT and MRI under department protocols and ensure patient comfort and safety.

Candidates must have strong knowledge of workflow, positioning, and accurate imaging for timely diagnoses. A valid ARRT RTR/RTCT/RTM or ARMRIT MRI credential and BLS CPR are required.

Qualifications

• Three years of staff technologist experience with one year in a specialty field.
• Active ARRT RTR or RTCT/RTM/ARMRIT MRI credentials desired or required upon hire.
• BLS CPR certification is required.
• Ability to work with RIS/PACS and HIS/RIS systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic radiographic imaging and fluoroscopic procedures per protocols.
• Position patients, ensure safety, and manage radiographic equipment.
• Place exams in PACS, print images, and manage film quality.
• Support pediatric to geriatric patient care and triage as needed.
