Job summary

61st Street Service Corporation is hiring a CT Radiology Technologist to join the ColumbiaDoctors practice network in the Northeast. The role involves performing CT studies, processing and archiving images, and ensuring patient safety and comfort.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years’ CT experience, NYS license, ARRT/CT certification, and current BLS. The position requires weekend coverage across multiple sites and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalency.
• Minimum of 2 years’ relevant experience, including operating PETCT equipment.
• NYS License, ARRT/CT certified.
• Current BLS required.
• Must demonstrate strong organizational and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet and interact with patients, visitors, vendors, and faculty and staff.
• Perform CT studies and general radiological procedures; review orders with radiologist.
• Position patient and select options to ensure best-case imaging.
• Observe patient and intervene as needed; contact primary care givers for instructions.
• Operate and maintain CT equipment and maintain performance logs.
• Perform clerical tasks for acquisition, processing, and archiving of records.
• Other duties as assigned.
