Job summary

Logan Health in Montana is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging procedures and support department operations, ensuring patient comfort and accurate exams. The ideal candidate will have ARRT certification, Montana state radiologic license, and RQI/BLS within 7 days, with strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills.

This PRN/shift-flexible role offers exposure to a busy imaging department, adherence to protocols, and opportunities for professional growth

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program required.
• ARRT Certification in Radiology required.
• Montana State license in Radiological Technology required.
• RQI Provider (BLS) within 7 days of hire/transfer or before independent patient care, whichever comes first.

Responsibilities

• Performs and documents assessment of the patient utilizing available information and incorporating the patient’s perception of illness/condition.
• Assists provider with examinations and procedures as directed and in accordance with established scope of practice as applicable to assigned area(s).
• Maintains an understanding of current exam protocols as applicable to assigned area(s).
• Accurately and efficiently transcribes and implements provider orders and treatments.
• Follows current exam protocols to perform diagnostic imaging procedures as applicable to assigned area(s).
• Maintains accountability to technologist competency/quality control standards. Reviews QA report and takes appropriate action as indicated.
• Assists with maintaining and coordinating repairs and services as needed.
• Performs administrative responsibilities per department procedure and protocol.
