Job summary

Andalusia Health in Andalusia, AL, seeks a Radiologic Technologist / CT Technologist to perform general radiography and CT in an acute care setting. You will prepare patients, position for optimal images, operate equipment, and document results in the EMR while upholding radiation safety and quality standards.

Requirements include ARRT-R, CT certification or within hire period, state licensure, and BLS. New graduates are welcome to apply; a $10K sign-on bonus is offered to eligible candidates,

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program required.
• Associate’s degree in Radiologic Technology required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• ARRT-R registration required.
• ARRT certification in CT required or must be obtained within defined period after hire.
• State licensure as Radiologic/CT Technologist as required by state law.
• BLS certification required.
• New graduates eligible with commitment to cross-training and competency completion.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic imaging procedures in general radiography and CT according to protocols and physician orders.
• Verify patient identity and review history to ensure exam appropriateness.
• Prepare and position patients to ensure safety, comfort, and image quality.
• Operate radiographic and CT imaging equipment to obtain diagnostic images.
• Prepare and administer contrast media within scope of practice under supervision.
• Monitor patients for adverse reactions and respond to emergencies.
• Evaluate images for quality and perform repeats as needed.
• Maintain accurate EMR/imaging documentation and comply with safety standards.
