Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program with a related degree.
• ARRT-R and CT certifications or eligibility are required per policy.
• State licensure as Radiologic/CT Technologist and BLS certification.
• Strong knowledge of radiation safety and patient care standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform general radiography and CT imaging per protocols and orders.
• Verify patient identity and review history to ensure exam appropriateness.
• Position patients to optimize image quality and ensure comfort.
• Operate radiographic and CT equipment; obtain diagnostic-quality images.
• Prepare, administer contrast media within scope and supervision.
• Monitor for adverse reactions and respond to emergent situations.
• Maintain EMR/imaging documentation and report QA issues.
• Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and staff to support care.
• Participate in ongoing education and competency validation.
