Job summary

FirstHealth of the Carolinas is a nationally recognized health care system located in central North Carolina. The CT Tech/Rad Tech will perform high-quality CT and diagnostic radiology studies while ensuring patient safety and comfort.

Collaboration with radiologists and healthcare professionals will be essential to interpret imaging results and maintain accurate records. New hires should have ARRT certification in radiology (CT registry eligibility or CT certification), BCLS, and graduate from

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of radiology with additional training in CT.
• ARRT certification in radiology required.
• ARRT certification or registry eligibility in CT required.
• Must become CT registered within a timeframe to be determined upon hiring.
• Experience performing CT Angiography preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BCLS) certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality CT and diagnostic radiology studies.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures.
• Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to interpret imaging results.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
• Operate and maintain imaging equipment in accordance with safety standards.
• Assist in the preparation and administration of contrast agents.
• Provide excellent patient care and address any concerns or questions.
