Job summary

Altus Lumberton Hospital is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform radiographic and CT procedures in a fast-paced ER setting. You will position patients, manage contrast administration, and uphold ALARA safety standards while delivering high-quality diagnostic images.

The role requires radiologic technology education, ARRT registration, and Texas licensure, with opportunities for competitive pay and benefits in a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited approved school of Radiologic Technology.
• At least 1 year of radiologic/imaging experience and CT experience.
• Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) and Texas licensure.

Responsibilities

• Operate radiographic equipment to produce diagnostic images as directed by the ER Physician and Radiologist.
• Perform CT scans and administer IV or oral contrast as needed.
• Practice ALARA radiation safety principles and maintain patient and staff safety.
• Position patients and adjust equipment to obtain optimal views for diagnostic quality.
• Document procedures and ensure accurate charting and paperwork.
