Job description

Our specialty hospitals, as the most acute level of care, provide critical care similar to traditional hospitals or ICUs, but for an extended recovery period. Our clinicians play a vital role in the recovery of chronic, critically ill, and medically complex patients.

Radiology Technologist Responsibilities:
  1. Receive, relay, and document verbal, facsimile, electronic, and telephone orders in the patient's chart, as permitted by State and Institutional policies.
  2. Follow prescribed techniques in administering general and specific X-rays, including adjusting equipment, determining proper voltage, current, and exposure time, and positioning patients.
  3. Determine the appropriate technique for ionizing radiation during radiologic exams.
  4. Prepare barium and other chemical mixtures for X-rays.
  5. Observe patients and equipment during procedures, report unusual occurrences, and record patient conditions.
  6. Develop film according to photographic techniques.
  7. Clean and disinfect X-ray room and equipment.
  8. Prepare patients for X-ray procedures by explaining the process, transferring, positioning, and assisting at the end of procedures.
Qualifications:
  • Completion of an ARRT-accredited program.
  • Current ARRT registration, CPR certification, and state licensure or certification as required.
  • At least one year of experience in diagnostic imaging.

Compensation: $32.00 - $43.01 per hour.
