Job summary

a2z Radiology AI in Boston is building models that read entire CT studies end-to-end, not just single findings. You will advance foundation models, vision-language alignment, and safety calibration while ensuring clinical relevance.

You will own experiments from idea to deployment, train on large real-world CT data, and collaborate with radiologists and engineers to ship FDA-ready solutions that move reading rooms forward.

Qualifications

• PhD or publications preferred but not required.
• Strong foundation in ML with experience in medical imaging is a plus.
• Ability to design and run independent experiments with rigor and reproducibility.

Responsibilities

• Develop foundation models that read entire CT studies.
• Advance vision-language alignment to reflect radiologists’ language.
• Build a single model that detects multiple urgent findings safely.
• Train and evaluate at large scale on real-world CT data.
• Ship models through FDA submissions and hospital deployments.
