Job summary

Qualifications

• AAS in Radiologic Technology or equivalent.
• NYS license/registration (must receive within 6 months).
• ARRT certification (must obtain within 1 year).
• One year experience as a radiologic technologist.
• CPR-BLS certification required.
• Registration for Contrast Injection required within 3 months.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret physician requests for CT exams and determine projections.
• Operate CT equipment and adjust controls per physician guidance to acquire images.
• Supervise junior and student technologists; provide guidance and feedback.
• Coordinate patient flow and schedule to maximize efficiency; assist with patient comfort.
• Report equipment malfunctions to service personnel and maintain image quality.
