Job summary

A graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program and ARRT certification are required. The incumbent must hold an Iowa Permit to Practice Radiology, maintain continuing education credits, and be BCLS certified.

Qualifications

Position Summary

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES POSITION PURPOSE:
The primary responsibility of the Radiologic Technologist (RRT) is providing quality images as ordered by the provider on inpatients and outpatients to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of various diseases and injuries.  MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS The incumbent shall be a graduate from an accredited school of Radiological Technology and have successfully completed the board examination of the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists. Must have a Permit to Practice Radiology issued by the Iowa State Department of Health. Must maintain State and Federal requirements for continuing education. Must be BCLS certified.
