Job summary

Virginia Gay Hospital in Vinton, IA is seeking a Radiologic Technologist (RRT) to provide quality imaging for inpatients and outpatients as ordered by the provider. The role includes working 7p to 7a with Sunday through Tuesday 12-hour shifts, supporting diagnosis and treatment across hospital and clinics.

The incumbent must graduate from an accredited Radiologic Technology program, hold ARRT certification, a valid Iowa Permit to Practice Radiology, and BCLS certification, with ongoing CE

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of Radiological Technology.
• Board examination by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists completed.
• Permit to Practice Radiology issued by the Iowa State Department of Health; maintain state and federal CE.
• BCLS certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality radiologic images as ordered by the provider for inpatients and outpatients to aid diagnosis and treatment.

Position Summary

The primary responsibility of the Radiologic Technologist (RRT) is providing quality images as ordered by the provider on inpatients and outpatients to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of various diseases and injuries.

Minimum Qualifications

• The incumbent shall be a graduate from an accredited school of Radiological Technology and have successfully completed the board examination of the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists. Must have a Permit to Practice Radiology issued by the Iowa State Department of Health. Must maintain State and Federal requirements for continuing education. Must be BCLS certified.
