Job summary

SnapCare is seeking a Radiologic Tech specialized in MRI and CT for a 12-week contract in Syracuse, NY. The role involves preparing patients, operating MRI and CT equipment, and coordinating with radiologists to deliver high-quality images.

Requirements include NY Rad Tech license, ARRT certification, current BLS, and at least 1 year of experience. Compensation includes travel pay and local rates with benefits applicable to contractors.

• 1+ year of experience required.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality CT and MRI scans based on physician orders, ensuring proper patient positioning and protocol adherence.
• Review patient histories and explain procedures, addressing questions to ensure patient comfort and cooperation.
• Operate and maintain imaging equipment, reporting malfunctions and following safety and quality control standards.
• Monitor patients during procedures, recognizing and responding to signs of distress or adverse reactions to contrast media.
• Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare teams, ensuring timely and accurate transmission of images and documentation.
