Job summary

The role requires ARRT certification, injection credential, and experience with PACS/RIS systems, with opportunities to train staff and support radiology workflow.

Qualifications

• GED Required.
• AS Preferred.
• Formal radiological technology training in CT or MR.
• Registered Radiologic Technologist - Injection Required.
• ARRT Required.

Responsibilities

• Patient and room preparation: enter patient data into RIS and prepare for scan.
• Assist radiologist during biopsy procedures and monitor progression.
• Obtain cross-sectional images with proper protocol settings.
• Maintain imaging workflow in IDXRad, GE Centricity (PACS) and verify labeling.
• Label, process, and display final images for radiologist interpretation.
• Maintain records of image slices and injections.
• Adhere to radiation safety regulations for patients and staff.
• Train other associates in CT or MRI procedures.
• Perform duties of a 4T technologist as needed.
• Perform other related tasks.
