Job summary

Venture Home Solar is hiring a CT Licensed Electrician for full-time work. You will execute wiring plans for PV solar systems, install electrical fixtures, and ensure safe, compliant electrical connections. The role requires a CT license, and prior residential/commercial electrical experience is preferred.

Wage ranges from $35 to $45 per hour with overtime pay beyond 40 hours per week. Strong safety knowledge and ability to work independently or as part of a team are essential.

Qualifications

• Valid CT electrical license is required.
• Experience as an electrician preferred.
• Experience in residential or commercial electrical systems preferred.
• Ability to read electrical drawings and blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Execute wiring plans for PV solar systems.
• Install electrical apparatus, fixtures and equipment.
• Connect wiring in circuits and networks to ensure component compatibility.
• Prepare conduits and route wiring through them.
• Troubleshoot hazards, malfunctions and repair damaged units.
