Job summary

SSM Health is seeking a PRN CT Technologist to perform computerized tomographic procedures for diagnosis in the St. Charles facility.

You will prepare and position patients, select parameters, and administer contrast as permitted within state and federal regulations. The role requires completion of Radiology Technology, Nuclear Medicine or Radiation Therapy program, and CT credential within 12 months of hire.

Qualifications

• Completion of Radiology Technology, Nuclear Medicine or Radiation Therapy program.
• CT credential within 12 months of hire date.

Responsibilities

• Performs CT procedures for diagnosis according to radiologists' protocols; does not perform biopsy.
• Prepares and positions patients, selects parameters, administers contrast within scope of practice.
• Monitors patient, follows safety guidelines and reports abnormalities.
• Completes required education and maintains licensure as specified for multiple states.
