Job summary

Atlantic Health Morristown Medical Center is seeking a CT Technologist to produce cross-section images for diagnostic purposes. You will interpret scanning instructions, prepare and operate CT equipment, and position patients to capture the required images.

The role evaluates image quality, administers contrast as needed, and uses EPIC, Radiant, and PACS for image handling and communication with Radiologists.

Qualifications

• Accredited educational program related to the radiology field and ARRT registration.
• Associate's degree in Applied Science in Diagnostic Radiology.
• CT Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Interprets CT Protocols and correctly positions the patient for the exam.
• Operates CT scanner equipment in accordance with prescribed radiation standards (ALARA).
• Evaluates CT scans for technical quality.
• Utilizes EPIC, Radiant, and PACS to schedule and transmit images to the Radiologist for interpretation.
• Prepares and administers contrast material using the power injector.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
