Job summary

Marymount Hospital, part of the Cleveland Clinic Healthcare System, seeks a CT Technologist to operate CT scanners, interpret physician instructions, administer contrast, and position patients to obtain diagnostic images.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technology program, ARRT registration, CT certification within one year, and BLS certification, plus knowledge of cross‑sectional anatomy.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
• ARRT(R) registration in good standing (R.T.(R)).
• CT certification within one year of hire (R.T.(R) (CT) ARRRT).
• BLS certification.
• Knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and related pathologic processes.

Responsibilities

• Acquire patient chart data/requisition and review to determine correct room setup, learn of any specific medical problems, contraindications to the study and verify that the study being ordered correlates to the diagnostic needs.
• Educate patients regarding procedure, equipment, and exam to ensure understanding and cooperation.
• Maintain all aspects of the CT area including the technical and clerical components to ensure proper quality assurance results and any required documentation.
