Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking a CT Technologist to perform computed tomography procedures, produce sectional and 3D images, and assist with interventional and therapeutic procedures. The role emphasizes patient safety, adherence to imaging protocols, and collaboration within the Radiology team.

The position requires an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program, NJ license, ARRT CT certification, and BLS.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Completion of an AMA approved school of Radiologic Technology.
• ARRT CT certification within 9 months of entering position.
• NJ state license for Diagnostic Radiology (D.R.).
• AHA Basic Life Support certification within 60 days.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex CT procedures and acquire diagnostic images.
• Evaluate radiographs for proper identification and diagnostic value.
• Prepare protocols for scanning and patient safety based on records and providers.
• Ensure patient preparation for the procedure and provide explanations to patients.
• Administer contrast and perform CT examinations following protocols.
• Provide guidance to students, employees, and residents.
