Job summary

LCMC Health’s West Jefferson Medical Center seeks a CT Technologist to perform radiographic procedures with independent judgment under the Radiology Director. You’ll operate imaging equipment, schedule patients, maintain QA, report equipment failures, and ensure ALARA safety while delivering high quality diagnostic exams.

The role requires an Associates Degree in Radiologic Technology (or 2-year program) and CT experience, with ARRT CT certification within two years.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or 2-year program in Radiologic Technology.
• At least 1 year of CT/Diagnostic technology experience.
• ARRT CT certification within two years of start.

Responsibilities

• Operate imaging equipment and optimize exam quality.
• Position patients, prepare for study, and ensure safety.
• Assist radiologists with contrast and exams; coordinate scheduling.
• Process and send images to PACS; maintain QA and safety standards.
• Escalate equipment downtime and participate in department meetings.
