Job summary

Norton Healthcare is offering opportunities for technologists at all experience levels in the diagnostic imaging department, with cross-training available for CT modalities. The CAT Scanner Technologist produces high quality diagnostic CT images, prepares patients, and ensures safety and infection control standards are met.

The role also includes supervising students during training and ongoing education on exam techniques.

Qualifications

• Active radiography license required by state.
• ARRT(CT) or NMTCB(CT) certification required within 1 year of hire.
• Ability to educate patients and respond to questions with clear communication.
• Proficiency in radiation safety and infection control practices.

Responsibilities

• Produce high quality diagnostic CT images meeting department standards.
• Prepare patients for CT procedures and educate them as needed.
• Demonstrate knowledge of anatomy, imaging techniques, and image optimization.
• Oversee and train students as part of clinical teaching.
