Job summary

Memorial Health System - Ohio in Marietta, OH is seeking a CT Technologist to operate the CT scanner and obtain diagnostic scans in compliance with ARRT/ASRT guidelines and Ohio regulations.

You will review examinations for technical accuracy, transmit images to PACS, and manage schedule coordination with the Outpatient Scheduling Department while maintaining readiness for CT call and ongoing compliance with RQI.

Qualifications

• Two years post high school education.
• Current radiologic licensure from the State of Ohio Department of Health.
• ARRT registration required.
• CT Technologist certification must be obtained within 2 years and completed within 3 years.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Operates the CT scanner to obtain diagnostic scans per ARRT/ASRT scope and Ohio rules.
• Reviews examinations for technical accuracy.
• Transmits images to PACS and scans appropriate documents.
• Rotates CT call.
• Checks expiration dates on supplies and disposes of expired items.
• Attends department meetings (75% attendance).
• Schedules patients with the Outpatient Scheduling Department.
• Maintains compliance in RQI.
• Assumes other duties as necessary.
