Job summary

Northwestern Medicine in Lakeview is seeking a CT Technologist to join our imaging team on a full-time daytime schedule. You will perform CT exams, ensure patient safety, and deliver high-quality diagnostic images according to established protocols.

This role requires graduation from an accredited Radiology Technologist Program and BLS certification; ARRT CT certification within 12 months or 10+ years CT experience may be considered.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiology Technologist Program.
• BLS certification is required.
• ARRT CT certification within 12 months of hire or 10+ years of CT experience in lieu of certification.

Responsibilities

• Maintain patient safety throughout imaging process.
• Produce diagnostic CT images using approved protocols.
• Administer contrast per policy and monitor patients.
• Operate CT equipment and ensure room readiness.
• Ensure complete study transfer to PACS for radiologist interpretation.
• Document exam setup, timing, and charging accuracy.
• Adhere to quality, safety, and regulatory standards.
• Coordinate exam flow and prioritize time-sensitive studies.
