Job summary

Bristol Health is seeking a CT Technologist to perform a wide range of CT exams, including interventional CT, while assisting Radiologists and ensuring patient safety. You will verify orders, optimize imaging, and follow ALARA principles in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Candidates should hold an accredited Radiography degree, CT certification (ARRT), CT licensure in CT, and a current BLS credential. CT experience is preferred and on-site work at Bristol, CT is expected.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Radiography program.
• Radiologic Technologist with CT advanced certification (ARRT-CT) and CT experience.
• Licensed in the state of Connecticut and BLS certified.
• 1 year CT experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs CT exams and interventional CT procedures per department protocols.
• Ensures patient safety, uses ALARA principles, verifies orders and patient data.
• Maintains sterile technique and timely documentation of scans.
• Monitors patient condition and communicates with radiologists and staff.
