Job summary

Broadlawns Medical Center in Des Moines, IA, is seeking a CT technologist to perform routine and specialized CT procedures under the supervision of radiologists and the Imaging Services Director. The role includes on-call responsibilities evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays, and participation in general radiology tasks as needed.

Qualified candidates will have graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technology program, ARRT certification, an Iowa permit, and CT experience.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
• ARRT certification.
• Valid Iowa permit to practice.
• One year CT experience or cross-trained at Broadlawns Medical Center.
• Ability to consistently meet the department work schedule.
• Demonstrates teamwork and effective communication.
• Familiarity with general computer applications.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and special CT procedures within standard imaging procedures.
• On-call responsibilities including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Assist with general radiology duties as needed.
• Maintain high image quality with a ≤5% error rate.
• Complete ASAP exams within one hour as directed.
