Job summary

Holy Cross Hospital - Davis is seeking a CT Tech to perform high-quality CT imaging exams and provide compassionate patient care in the medical imaging department.

The ideal candidate will follow ALARA, lead associate technologists, and serve as a clinical resource with strong communication and safety skills. Requires ARRT CT/ radiography registrations and state license where applicable, BLS, and 1 year of related experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• ARRT CT/N/N or CNMT registry required or ARRT (R) with CT training.
• State Radiology Tech license for those working at a Kansas site.
• BLS, American Heart Association.
• One (1) year of related experience.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic imaging procedures, ensuring safety for self, patients and others.
• Follows ALARA principles to minimize exposure.
• Produces high-quality CT images in a timely manner.
• Provides information and instruction to patient/family about procedures.
• Observes patient and equipment, reports unusual occurrences and documents patient’s condition.
• Performs IV starts and contrast administration as required.
