Job summary

SureScan Corporation in Boxborough, MA, seeks a Principal Imaging Engineer to lead imaging technology development across CT systems. You will guide image quality analysis, data acquisition, reconstruction, and system performance while collaborating with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality and Service teams.

You will mentor imaging engineers, design experiments, develop software tools, and translate requirements into measurable performance criteria.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, Biomedical Engineering, Mathematics, or related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of relevant engineering experience, including significant imaging experience.
• Experience with Python and C++ required.
• Experience with image quality analysis, image processing, reconstruction, data analysis, or related imaging technologies.
• Experience leading technical projects or investigations is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead acquisition, analysis, and evaluation of datasets across CT systems and configurations.
• Perform quantitative and qualitative image quality analysis to identify improvements.
• Lead troubleshooting and root cause analysis of complex imaging and system performance issues.
• Develop, evaluate, and optimize image processing and reconstruction methods and software.
• Design and execute experiments to evaluate system performance and imaging technologies.
• Define test methods, performance metrics, and verification approaches for imaging systems.
