Job summary

HCA Houston Healthcare Northwest is seeking a Supervisor Diagnostic Imaging to lead imaging operations and ensure high-quality CT, MRI, Nuclear Medicine, Ultrasound and Mammography services. You will plan, direct, and supervise technical staff, ensure safety and regulatory compliance, and support departmental goals under the Director of Imaging Services.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of radiological technology.
• Knowledge of Joint Commission policies, Texas Dept of Health regulations and MQSA standards.
• CT Supervisor must have ARRT (CT) and Texas Medical Board General MRT.
• Four years hospital-based experience, two years supervisory preferred.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) required.

Responsibilities

• Plans, directs and supervises technical aspects of Imaging Department and evaluates programs.
• Ensures hospital Mission and Values are implemented throughout imaging department.
• Recommends actions regarding equipment and essential functions within the department.
• Coordinates stock levels, patient supplies and utilization.
• Maintains radiology services in accordance with TDH, ACR, MQSA and Joint Commission.
• Prepares reports for the Director of Imaging and participates in recruitment.
• Represents the department on committees and ensures adequate staffing.
• Implements imaging department policies and safety measures; oversees equipment maintenance.
