Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program.
• Montana State Radiologic Technologist License as required by law.
• Registered as a Radiologic Technologist (RT) by the ARRT required.
• Current BLS CPR certification required.
• Registered in Computed Tomography (CT) by ARRT preferred or must be obtained within eighteen (18) months of hire.
• Excellent organizational skills, detail-oriented, a self-starter, critical thinking, and ability to function in team and independently.
• Commitment to confidentiality and working in a team environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with diverse audiences.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with tact, professionalism and diplomacy.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to learn other software.

Responsabilités

• Accurately performs CT examinations following department protocols and ALARA standards.
• Performs beginning and end of day duties, stocks areas and manages supply outdates.
• Exhibits proper radiation and safety procedures in assigned areas.
• Reports malfunctioning equipment and documents safety issues.
• Gathers patient history and reason for procedure to ensure proper diagnosis and communication with patients.
• Prepares patients for exams, demonstrates venipuncture techniques when needed, and conducts I-stat competencies.
• Provides patients with post-exam information and follow-up as applicable.
• Reviews orders, prior exams, and patient history; completes exam documentation.
