Qualifications

• Accredited radiology program completion and ARRT registration.
• Fluency with safety standards and patient care in imaging.
• Ability to operate radiology equipment and perform CT exams.

Responsibilities

• Take on call shift responsibilities as required by the department.
• Charge for supplies used for procedures and utilize appropriate exam codes.
• Position patient and perform imaging procedures.
• Analyze images and address image quality issues.
• Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and report problems.
• Prepare equipment and supplies for procedures.
• Select exposure factors and imaging parameters.
• Apply safety standards and perform QC on equipment.
• Administer contrast media or medications within scope when ordered.
• Monitor patient condition during procedures and respond to changes.
